Our Maypole has been used in hundreds of schools and organisations accross the UK for over 60 years. The 274cm pole is supplied in two sections making transporting and storage so much easier. It is possible to transport the maypole in a car (the largest section is the base which is 95cm squared). The overall height when constructed is 366cm.

The pole fits into a steel base and topped with a revolving circle and crown, both of which are fitted with hooks to allow for 24 dancers.

NEW: The base now includes a heavy green MDF board attached to the metal base. This gives the base extra weight for increased stability and safety.

The Maypole is powder coated in Forest Green. Comes complete with 24 braids (supplied in Blue, Yellow, Red and Green). Extra sets of braids can be purchased separately if required.

There are a wide range of activities early years children can do, including Singing nursery Rhymes whilst walking, skipping and learning to work as a team.

The Play pole has been designed with a weighted base for safety in an attractive flower petal shape. It is portable and breaks down into 3 parts for storage (crown, pole and base). Comes complete with 8 braids.

The Mini Play pole is perfect to cover the new 6 areas of learning.

Children love interacting with this brand new Play Pole designed for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. It can be used all year round, indoors or outdoors. This is a fantastic way of promoting team work.

This is an adaptation of our traditional Maypole. This Play pole will cater for 8 users. The crown which can be fixed to make a pattern with the braids or left to rotate, has 8 hooks for the braids to hang. Unlike our Mini Playpole for preschool children, this special Playpole has braids that are 12ft in length. This is so users with wheelchairs can use the pole at a distance creating enough wheelchair space between each student. If the crown is fixed and a pattern is formed down the pole then the braids will naturally shorten but there is still space for the wheelchaires to get closer to the pole.

The base is a petal shape which is heavy for safety and avoid any chance of the pole being pulled over. We do stress that the pole should NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED and only used under supervision.

We recommend you use your own music and students can sing along to familiar tunes at the same time as having lots of fun. The braids are sent in 4 colours, red, yellow, green and blue. They have a handle at one end for the student to hold. If the crown is left to rotate, students will learn to move in the same direction to turn the crown. If fixed students will learn to create a pattern on the pole. For more able minded students you can have some students moving in an opposite direction to create a more complex pattern. This will promote teamwork.
